The New Kindred Spirit consists of Marvin Plank and Madonna Suri as a duo.

Marvin has been in many band situations over the years, and Madonna was part of one of his most recent bands.

Marvin has played guitar and sang for many years. Music is in his soul, and is reflected in his singing and guitar playing.

Madonna has always had music in her heart, but as many of us do, she put her dreams on hold to marry and raise a family.

Madonna has been singing for most of her life, but has only been in the band scene for the last 4-5 years. She has come a long way in that time, with a song in her heart, and a lot of hard work. Singing has become the foundation of her heart and soul.

Together they do many current cover tunes, and a lot of original music.

They have appeared at: The Mill in Iowa City, Bent River Brewing in Moline, RME in Davenport, The Bier Stube, Moline, and Davenport
